This time, Takeshi Saji decided to use a new Powdered High Speed Tool Steel called SRS-13, which is produced by Sanyo Steel Company. Master Saji has great confidence that this high-quality steel will provide supreme cutting performance and edge retention.

To match this unusual blade steel, Master Saji decided to mirror polish the SRS-13 cutting edge core sandwiched with soft-stainless blades and decorate them with a unique Tsuchime hammered texture.

His hand-made custom handles are carefully contoured to ensure a comfortable grip and they are available in a choice of 5 different materials: Classic, highly practical Black Linen Micarta; Vivid Red Linen Micarta; Strong, beautiful, natural Ironwood; Simple, stylish White Corian; and, for a taste of the wild outdoors, Stag Bone!

The knives are also fitted with a stainless steel bolster for improved handle durability and blade balance. When taken as a complete package, these knives are not only visually striking, they are also highly practical and easy to maintain.
