This knife comes with 50/50 double bevel edge geometry for both right and left handed use.
For your information, Japanese Kitchen knives are generally designed for right hand use with a slightly thicker and rounded grinding on the right side blade and a less rounded (almost straight flat) grinding on the left side blade. However, both right and left hander can use the knives that have double bevel edge sharpened 50/50 without problems.

This is probably the sharpest and prettiest knife i own. So far I've cut veggies, meat and some fish, and i can attest to the "three virtues" of this Santoku! Im an aspiring professional cook, and having such a high quality tool makes my work so much easier, especially with tomatoes.

The blue moon series is sooo sharp. I started giving these knives to my dad for Christmas. Now everyone in my family asks for them and this year I bought a couple for myself. They’re amazing!
