This version of this knife may be too long for many. I bought it to cut baguettes along the length. It manages this within seconds, safely. I am now thinking of buying the shorter version too. One thing a bread knife needs, apart from the obvious sharpness, is a rigid blade. The longer versions tend to be too ’bendy’ rendering them unsafe for use by many. This does not suffer from that problem.
Have now purchased six kitchen knives here over past 8 years. All excellent as advertised, highly recommend this site.
I really like to use it. This knife is really usefull for different type of vegtables, breads etc.
