For your information, Japanese Kitchen knives are generally designed for right hand use with a slightly thicker and rounded grinding on the right side blade and a less rounded (almost straight flat) grinding on the left side blade. However, both right and left hander can use the knives that have double bevel edge sharpened 50/50 without problems.
We believe the quality and cutting performance of Japanese knives are the best in the world, and hope you enjoy fine craftsmanship and sharp edge with your new knife. With proper cares, every Japanese knife should be your special cooking partner for long times.
This is the Stainless steel blade kitchen knife that has a good rust resistance for easy maintenance. However, it may get rust, if kept in wet condition.
Great balance despite its size. I was able to slice meat so thin that I could almost read a newspaper trough the slices.
sharp, beautiful, convenient. I just fell in love!
I’m lucky to own several high quality Japanese knives, and several other gyotos, but this Hattori FH has quickly become my go to knife for most jobs. My other 210’s feel flimsy and unsubstantial in comparison. I would highly recommend this knife, especially if you are thinking about an entry level Nenox. I truly feel this series is of high quality, and is relatively good value.
I really enjoyed it, while I'm very pleased. Many thanks!
This is the first real knife that I own. I was able to try a lot of japanese knives before and I absolutely love this piece. I absolutely recommend this Gyuto
