This knife comes with 50/50 double bevel edge geometry for both right and left handed use.
For your information, Japanese Kitchen knives are generally designed for right hand use with a slightly thicker and rounded grinding on the right side blade and a less rounded (almost straight flat) grinding on the left side blade. However, both right and left hander can use the knives that have double bevel edge sharpened 50/50 without problems.

This is the Stainless steel blade kitchen knife, which has good rust resistance for easy maintenance. However even stainless steel blade kitchen knife has rust situation if you leave it with wet condition.

I really enjoy using this knife to chop fruits and vegetables. It’s not my go to for a large dinner, but it is perfect for when you need more than a pairing knife. The blue handle color is great and the knife is very sharp. It is also very lightweight.
The knife is very sharp and nicley polished. I was a little dissapointed with the fact that the tang is slightly larger than the handle scales so I feel it when I hold the knife. It's not a deal breaker but the handle fit is no better than some of the 2nd quality Wusthof's I have purchased at their outlet which is close to my home.
