I purchased Camellia Oil when I purchased a knife made with Aogami high carbon steel. High carbon steel can rust without proper care. The Camellia Oil is very light. One drop per side is all I need to use for the petty knife that I purchased (5.9 inch blade). I simply give the blade a very light coating by spreading the oil over the surface of the blade with my fingers. Then the knife can go back into it's paper sheaf and the box ready for it's next use.
