This knife comes with 50/50 double bevel edge geometry for both right and left handed use.
For your information, Japanese Kitchen knives are generally designed for right hand use with a slightly thicker and rounded grinding on the right side blade and a less rounded (almost straight flat) grinding on the left side blade. However, both right and left hander can use the knives that have double bevel edge sharpened 50/50 without problems.
We believe quality and performance of Japanese knives are best in the world and hope you enjoy fine craftsmanship and spirits from your new knife. With proper cares, every Japanese knife can be your special cooking partner for long time.
This is the Stainless steel blade kitchen knife, which has good rust resistance for easy maintenance. However even stainless steel blade kitchen knife has rust situation if you leave it with wet condition.
Incredibly sharp and precise, with an ergonomically shaped handle that makes cooking prep easy, this knife has been a great addition to our kitchen.
Happy with the knife. Need to re-sharpen after about 2 months of use, but I guess that's standard. Looks great!
I got this knife as a gift for my husband, and he loves it! I may be guilty of using it all the time too! The knife came in super quickly and the packaging was secure and nice as well. We both have a love for cooking and food, so this was a great buy! The knife is beautiful and super sharp! 10/10 would recommend this if you're not sure what to get: it's such a versatile knife, you can't go wrong with this knife or this company!
I recommend for everyone, sharp and light, easy to use !
I bought the JCK Natures Inazuma Series Wa Gyuto 240mm recently. It came in less than a week, with amazing sharpness right out of the box. I use it at work, a professional kitchen in Brooklyn. It's become my workhorse, and I couldn't be happier with it, and haven't used anything else in my day to day routine since.
