Tetsujiro Tsuchime (“Hammered Pattern”) Texture VG-10 Damascus Series Knife (HRc. 60-61) has a hand contoured Green and Black layered Linen Micarta® handle for durability, water-resistance and strong resistance to shrinking.
To match the impressive and unique appearance of the polished Tsuchime Damascus blade, Mr. Masui decided to use the Green Linen Micarta Handle. The handle and the Nickel Silver bolsters are contoured and polished by hand so that they are comfortable to grip and are nicely accented by a decorative mosaic pin and a red/green/blue spacer.

For your information, Japanese Kitchen knives are generally designed for right hand use with a slightly thicker and rounded grinding on the right side blade and a less rounded (almost straight flat) grinding on the left side blade. However, both right and left hander can use the knives that have double bevel edge sharpened 50/50 without problems.
