This is the Stainless steel blade kitchen knife, which has good rust resistance for easy maintenance. However even stainless steel blade kitchen knife has rust situation if you leave it with wet condition.
This knife is super lightweight, I've been using it for about a year, I barely sharpen it and it stays extremely sharp. I definitely recommend it to people who cut a lot of vegetables. I just have a good time cooking with it.
Nice alternative to santokus, versatile and very precise slicing.
I have a professional use of my Nakiri and I have to admit that it's amazing. It´s light and precise, I use it for the vegetables and herbs and I couldn't work without it now. My Nakiri is perfect for an efficient cutting without crushing, it gives the nicest aspect and taste to my ingredients. Highly recommended. -- Vanderschelden Mélissa
It is a joy for chopping and slicing. Just the weight of it is enough to carry the blade through the veggies, and if it doesn’t easily then just a couple of strokes on the stone do the trick. Since it is so sharp, I don’t need much force, and since I don’t need force they are easier to control and safer too.
I cook every day and appreciate good tools for any task, including a sharp knife. This knife is not only incredibly sharp and practical, it is gorgeous! It's truly a pleasure to use. The handle is smooth and comfortable, the balance is perfect, and the edge is thin and sharp. The shape of the nakiri is great for vegetables and allows plenty of surface for your knuckles to slide against while slicing. I enjoy cooking but I look forward to the prep even more because I can use this knife! I was also very pleased with the speed of shipping and careful packaging. A five star experience!
