We have launched JCK Original
"KAGAYAKI" Brand in the beginning of 2009.
The First “KAGAYAKI Basic
Series” were basic and
classical Japanese Western Style kitchen knives. In
terms of the Quality, Function and Price, we believe the First
Series met these JCK Brand concepts, and are being used by
many customers from the first users to professional users.
This is the second Series
from JCK Original KAGAYAKI. For the next step, we
have closely worked with the mastercraftsman, Mr. Gotou again.
We wanted him
something different and new design, yet the both quality
control and
craftsmanship are high levels to satisfy practical
users and professional chefs.
 
"Elegant and
Contemporary" are the first impression when you see and hold
this KAGAYAKI
VG-10 Series for it's total beauty and balance. A Beautiful
semi-mirror polished solid VG-10 blade with 3-C etching
"Kagayaki" logo, and comfortable hand-rounded dark purple
Staminawood handle with matching curved Nickel silver bolster
and rivets. The Staminawood is a compressed laminate wood with
special resin ingredients, and is very durable and water
resistant. The Cobalt added VG-10 stainless steel is hardened
to HRc60-61 and is famous for the edge sharpness and longer
edge retention.
Total Ten (10) kinds of practical blade
styles and sizes to meet with your every cooking
chore..
The VG-10
blades are designed and ground with proper edge angles to be
used for both right and left handers, so you don't need to
re-adjust or special order the left hand models, except for
Boning and Sujihiki models that are available in
left-handed blade bevels.

KAGAYAKI ES (Extra Sharpness) Series
?
We recently met the
experienced and good personality of craftsman in Seki,
who has been in kitchen knife business for most part of
his life. As many advance users and craftsmen
know, the final hand sharpening and honing process
by Japanese whetstone makes extra sharpness and
cutting performance. Also once the knife is sharpened by
whetstone for fine edge shape, it will be easier to make
re-sharpening process. (The blade edge can have
Sharpening Route after the Whetstone Sharpening
process.)
There are many advantages with KAGAYAKI ES
Series. We can especially recommend KAGAYAKI ES
products for people who requires extra sharpness,detailed
and precise cutting performance and also for people who
do not have good experience of sharpening.
